Because I’ve been thinking about buying a home for so long, I know exactly what I want my house to look like. I desire a place that has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. I also need a quiet space to set up my home office in. I want a massive, walk-in closet in my master bedroom. My master bathroom needs to have double vanities, a tiled, walk-in shower, and a Jacuzzi tub. On this blog, I hope you will discover how to set priorities during your new home search. Enjoy!

The Benefits Of Using A Real Estate Agent To Find A Rental

Elli Jokela

When you are looking for a property to rent, you might find that it is more difficult than you expected. You may also be surprised by how long it can take to find the right one that works for your family and for your budget.

Once you finally do end up finding the right rental, then you have to cross your fingers and hope that the manager decides to go with you over the how ever many other families who are also trying to get into it. If you have some dings in your credit or rental history that don't look too good, then you'll also have those things to stress over.

Using a real estate agent to help you find your next rental can really help. Here are some of the benefits to using an agent that you want to be aware of:

You can tell your story to the agent one time

When you are looking for a place to rent, you will more than likely find yourself telling your story over and over again. However, when you use a realtor to help you find your next rental, you can tell them your story which would include explaining anything that looks bad in your credit report or on your rental history. They will have you put together a rental application that's complete and that they can use over and over when discussing the possibility of renting to you with other agents.

Also, the agent you use may even have one of their own rentals that will work for you. If not, they may personally know another agent and can get you into one of theirs. Even if they have to reach out further to agents they don't know, your application will be taken more serious coming from an actual agent.

You can end up saving a good deal of money on applying for rentals

There is usually an application fee that's relatively small each time that you apply for a rental. While this amount may be relatively small, it can add up when you need to pay it every time you apply for a place that you don't end up moving into. A real estate agent may be able to get you out of all those fees also. This is especially true if they are able to get you into one of their places because they can use that same fee to go toward all of the available rentals that they have, since they will only be running your credit the one time no matter what.
